- Has family been contacted? Are any interested in D?
- Has/have the family/families who adopted D's older siblings been contacted? Are they interested in D?
- When does D need to see the doctor and how does that get set up?
- Has D's blood test come back yet? What were the results?
- What direction is this case going? Are they going to attempt reunification, or are they moving toward TPR? (RU is most likely since there are only 2 older sibs)
- What other details can you give me about her birth? (Time of birth, length and weight, etc) This is just my curiosity and wanting to start a scrapbook.
i'll probably add to that list, but right now i'm too worried to think.
i haven't updated you in a couple of days. D's still doing really well. We're trying to convince her that 1 1/2 ounces to eat is just as good if not better than 1 ounce, still every 2 hours. i'm petrified that when they weigh her, she'll weigh less than she did. i don't really think so, but i'm a worried mommy. She still hates being put down, but i found if i put her in her carseat on the stroller thing and put both of the sun shades most of the way up, she really likes that. i guess it's like a cocoon or a womb. So i've managed to snatch a half hour here or there.
Friday one of my coworkers brought a LOT of baby stuff. This woman was incredible! She gathered it from just 3 people, some neighbors and friends, and then she washed and sterilized EVERYTHING herself! And arranged it by size, too! Can you believe it? There's a ton of baby girl clothes (Sigh - i never was a fan of the color pink, and lavender is my world's least favorite color! But yellow i love, there just isn't enough of it...) from newborn to 6 or 9 months, mostly in the 0-3 range. Right now she's still in preemie but she'll get there (if the fear i mentioned above doesn't come true!). There's a summer bag and a winter bag, and the winter are mostly the bigger clothes. There's a Graco Snugride travel system, with the car seat and the stroller, which is awesome. So now we have one for each car. There's a huge stack of cloth diapers and flannel blankets. A changing pad and 2 covers. A hundred or so baby hangers. Quite a few toys. A big bag of toiletries. A bottle and pacifier and stuff like that. A grocery store seat cover thingie. i can't possibly remember what all! Oh, yeah, and a diaper genie! So here's some pictures for you to get your own peek (sorry, no baby).

That is incredible! I hope you get good news from the case worker and the doctor!
