And oh my gosh it's huge! A 2 day old baby girl. Yes, 2 days old! She's here in my arms right now (only because i have 4 arms thanks to the sling i bought). She does not like to be put down, which should be amusing and makes me that much happier that i got the sling lol
She has 2 older (half? full?) siblings who were adopted out through CPS, so there's a chance it could go to adoption, but there's never any guarantees with foster care. A family member could come out of the woodwork, who knows. She's 5 pounds 2 ounces (born 5/4), and we're not sure if she's premature or low birth weight as there wasn't prenatal care.
Did i mention i'm in LOVE? We'll call her Baby D for now.

ReplyDeleteVery cool! Hopefully she sleeps through a chunk of the night for you guys. The key is to swap nights...let him sleep tonight, then tomorrow is his night to be up when she wakes up.
